Anita Rosamond

Vocalist/pianist/songwriter Anita Rosamond has earned a reputation as one of the most exciting performers on today's music scene. Born in St. Louis, Anita has toured the U.S., England and Australia. She has won critical acclaim for performances at the Sheldon Concert Hall, the Pageant, Jazz at the Bistro and events such as the Big Muddy Blues Fest and the first annual Wine, Dine & Jazz Festival. Anita's talent and wide-ranging repertoire are rooted in a musical background that ranges from her early gospel music roots to jazz - with influences from other musical genres along the way. Those diverse influences are showcased on her seven acclaimed recordings and compilations - including an early release backed by Roy Orbison's band.
