SAFB HOT BRASS PROTOCOL COMBO

In 2010, the U. S. Air force Band of Mid-America, based at nearby Scott Air Force Base continues its tradition of Wine, Dine & Jazz participation with an appearance by Hot Brass Protocol Combo. This group is sure to please music lovers of any pursuasion. During a concert, you are likely to hear rock, funk, jazz, blues, soul, swing and country, as well as the latest pop hits. Throughout the Midwest, Hot Brass serves as musical ambassadors for the Air Force in free civic outreach concerts. In 2008, the group deployed to the Area of Responsibility (AOR) in Southwest Asia, the Middle East and North Africa in support of operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom, bringing a taste of home to the hard-working men and women of the US military and coalition forces. Secondly, they carried a message of good will to people of all ages throughout the AOR.

The Hot Brass Protocol Combo this year is a high energy quartet made up of some of the finest musicians the Air force has to offer. We always appreciate the involvement of the Air Force's contribution both here at our festival and their support of our service members around the world.
