Jim Stevens Group

The Jim Stevens Group is like no other. A sound born in St. Louis, performed by the finest musicians in town. Music that embodies the soul and energy of its home. Saxophonist Jim Stevens grew up in Belleville, went on to study music at the prestigious North Texas State University jazz program, then returned to the area to play shows at the Fox Theater with the Four Tops and the Temptations as well as work with Ralph Butler. Now he has his own band - the Jim Stevens Group, featuring talented musicians such as R. Scott Zbryan, who toured and recorded for several years with Sheryl Crow. The Jim Stevens Group is working on a new recording which will hopefully be ready by the time the Group performs at Wine, Dine & Jazz.
